Woodrow Wilson Community Council

Dallas ISD and the neighborhood schools that make up the Woodrow Wilson High School community act on behalf of neighborhood families in an effort to provide outstanding educational opportunities for school aged children. Partnerships among school, with families, businesses and community organizations are vital to developing those opportunities and fine tuning them to fit the needs of our specific community. The WWCC can be a vital link in that partnership, providing a forum for communication of needs and opportunities and facilitating sharing of resources and support.

mission and goals:

The WWCC is committed to work cooperatively with the Dallas ISD and all sectors of the East Dallas Community to promote the success of public schools and individual students in the Woodrow Wilson High School feeder pattern. The WWCC will strive to foster communication among all the groups that form and support the Woodrow Wilson High School feeder pattern, including public schools, Early Childhood PTAs,
PTAs, SBDMs and other affiliated groups. The Council shall plan and execute projects to the benefit of the
Woodrow Wilson Community.
